Auditing
IMS staff can conduct both management system
and EHS compliance audits.
Compliance audits are conducted to ensure that an organization’s
operations are in compliance to relevant EHS legislation and regulations
(federal , provincial and municipal) as well as any permits and approvals.
Management system audits are used to determine the effectiveness of an
existing management system against an organization’s documented system
and the requirements of ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14001 and/or OHSAS 18001.
IMS staff include a Certified Environmental Auditor (CEA) and an EMS (Lead
Auditor) as designated by the Canadian Environmental Auditing Association.
